Stomp! 2023 Chambourcin
This lesser known grape variety is a French-Californian hybrid, known for its deep colour, being one of the few red varieties with coloured flesh. If you're after something a little more unusual try it with pork, tomato based dishes or cheese.
Tasting Notes
This slightly unusual grape variety has resulted in a wine with vibrant dark purple hues, loads of mulberry, blackberry fruits and spice. Although the palate is big, its very approachable with lovely soft tannins on the finish.
Cellaring Potential - Drink this wine young whilst the rich fruits are highlighted. Cellar up to 3years.

Winemaking Details
Machine harvested in March 2023 the fruit was fermented in stainless steel tanks, with regular hand plunging. It then underwent malolactic fermentation and maturation in French and Hungarian oak barriques for 18 months. The resultant wine was then bottled in October 2024. Alc - 14.0%
